Biography
Vincent F. Auffrey completed a BA in History at the Université de Moncton, in New Brunswick, and an MA in the History of Science at the IHPST. He is now pursuing his PhD at the Institute. His focus is set primarily on the social history of medicine and the history of eugenics in Canada. Secondary interests include the histories of scientific racism and of anatomy, and the interplay between knowledge and power. Vincent has also worked on the history of Atlantic Canada, especially with regard to Acadian history.
