Biography

I am currently a doctoral candidate at the IHPST, co-supervised by Joseph Berkovitz and Cheryl Misak. Previously, I completed my master's in economics at the University of New Hampshire where I was supervised by Jim Wible. I am primarily interested in philosophical issues that arise at the intersection of epistemology and philosophy of action. My doctoral research aims to propose a new interpretation of Frank P. Ramsey’s pragmatism by contextualizing it within the anti-intellectualism movement of the early twentieth century. I show that the anti-intellectualist theme of Ramsey’s epistemology and action theory give us an apt ground to develop an account of practical rationality in form of reliable habit-governed behavior with useful applications for economic decision contexts.
Another interest of mine is the history of economic thought in the inter-war period in Britain. I was a research fellow at  the Center for the History of Political Economy at Duke University in the 2019-20 academic year where I carried out research on John M. Keynes' account of economic rationality and the feminist theme of Frank P. Ramsey's economic writings. In addition, I am developing interest in pragmatist philosophies of education and the way pragmatism has been employed by the proponents of Philosophy for Children (P4C).
